How do we identify the raisins are treated, manufactures will extract essences “dextrose” from original raisins.
What is dextrose?
Dextrose is simple sugar that is made from corn and is chemically identical to glucose, or blood sugar. Dextrose is often used in baking products as a sweetener, and can be commonly found in items such as processed foods and corn syrup.
Dextrose is used for medical purpose, it is dissolved in solutions that are given intravenously, which can be combined with other drugs, or used to increase a person’s blood sugar, it given energy to body.
Dextrose are found in raisins .

Originally raisins don’t have sodium, there will be no sugar content in raisins, never have carbohydrate.
The raisin above clearly shown it is added sugar syrups, fry in sunflower oil as the raisins are shining .
Incase like me , you have purchased the raisins, don’t wish to throw it out , there is a solution.
Please boil water add 1/2teaspoon of salt add full pack of 250grams of raisin let is boil for 5-10 mins the full treated layers will be removed then you can add your cakes or other products to eat.
Quick references for you all:- Original raisins will be having no glossy surface , it is naturally matt finish.
